The two baby elephants on the picture are twins who were born in an elephant breeding center in Chitwan, Nepal. In the press they were named “double trouble” for their mum. They are now one month old and feel good. The infants are said to be the first elephant twins born in Nepal. They are very cute and so playful! I love elephants.

Fennec fox is a small fox with large ears living in Sahara Desert. Fennec
foxes are smaller than domestic cats, they grow up to 16 in. Their coats are sand-colored, so they can easily blend with the desert sand. Their large ears are very sensitive, they can hear insects walk on the sand. These cute ears and the friendly character make many people keep a fennec fox as a pet. They are very nice, active and playful – ideal friends.

When I saw this video for the first time I thought this white cute baby was a puppy – he looks like a pet. But as I went on watching the video I understood it was polar bear cub Knut born on 5 December 2006 in the Berlin zoo. He was rejected by his mother at birth and this is why this man with the beard (on of the zookeepers) took care of him. In these videos you can follow how Knut grew. Today Knut is two years old. Happy birthday, Knut!

Last week three wombat pups were born at the Australian Wildlife Centre, Healesville, Melbourne. One of the pups received the name Paw Paw because one of his paws was white. When I saw the picture of this cute wombat pup, I decided to tell you a bit about these wonderful animals resembling pigs and rodents at the same time.
