It would seem that there is nothing difficult in cleaning the house. To dust, to wash the floor, to plug the vacuum cleaner and to clean the carpets. Well, what can be done then with baked splashes of an exploded burger in the microwave oven? How will you remove an unpleasant sticky substance from the grilling surface after another failing culinary experiment? Take salt, lemon, a little alcohol, and soda. This will be needed for cleaning rather than for another party.
1. Lemon water for cleaning the microwave oven
Fill a bowl for microwave ovens with water by half and squeeze the juice of four lemons cut in half. Put halves of the fruit in a mixture of water and juice with the peel up. Put the mixture in the microwave for five minutes and set high power. Then the water can be removed and the lemons can be thrown away. All you now need to do is to wipe the microwave oven with a damp cloth, and everything will be clean again.
2. Lemon Water against mirror spots
A glass of water and a quarter glass of lemon juice, poured into a spray bottle, replace the solution for cleaning windows and mirrors. The mixture is sprayed on the surface and wiped with a dry cloth.
3. Rubber gloves against fur
It is better to remove fur from the carpets, sofas and soft seats manually. Do not worry. You need to put on a rubber glove, wet it and just rub the fur. The hairs will be rolled into a ball, which will be easy to throw away.
4. Soda and a toothbrush against the dirty tile
To clean the dirt that has accumulated between the tiles, you can use baking soda and an old toothbrush. Soda removes dirt, mold, and microdebris, which accumulate over the years and spoil the appearance of the walls and floor. First, wash the tile carefully, and then brush it with a paste obtained by mixing water and baking soda to clean all the seams. Next, remove the baking soda with a damp cloth.
5. Ketchup for cleaning darkened silver
Of course, ketchup is a delicious sauce, but it is also useful. The acid contained in tomatoes cleanses darkened silver perfectly well. Immerse silver objects in a bowl with ketchup and leave them for 5-10 minutes. Then rinse them with warm water and wipe dry. This method works for copper utensils and silver jewelry as well.
6. Soda against the dirt in a refrigerator
The solution of four teaspoons of soda and a liter of water will help to wash the shelves in the refrigerator. Just be sure to first disconnect the fridge from the electricity supply.
7. Salt and lemon against the dirt on a cutting board
If a wooden cutting board became dark and dirty, sprinkle its surface with salt and forcefully rub the salt layer with half a lemon. Rinse the already clean board with water.
By the way, salt and lemon can be used to clean a sink and even the toilet.
8. Beer against the dull gold
Rings and other jewelry made of pure gold will shine, if you wipe them with a cloth soaked in beer. Just make sure that the metal is pure, the beer is light, and there are no gems in jewelry.
9. Vodka against the smell of a mattress
Plain vodka can be poured into a spray bottle and sprayed thoroughly on the mattress. Alcohol destroys bacteria that cause the bad smell. Of course, vodka smells too, so the mattress should be well dried before using, preferably outdoors.
10. Anti-static spray against burned grill grates
Grill grates are difficult to clean from strong depositions. But if you soak them in warm water for an hour or two, adding a few wipes with an antistatic agent (such liquid is often found in cleaning wipes for computers and various equipment), there will be no problems with cleaning.
11. Lemon against the smell from the pipes
If you have a garbage grinder in your sink, drop a few lemon halves there. You will surely notice the freshness and the pleasant smell spreading all over your kitchen.
14. Ammonia against dirt in the oven
Half a cup of ammonia in a plate that is left in a microwave oven for the night would be great. It can work wonders. Everything that has got stuck will come off by itself, and you will just have to wipe the surface.
