Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, the famous Hollywood couple raising six children, limit their children’s access to TV. According to Brad, this way the children are protected from the advertising influence of television. Pitt says, that the kids do not ask for grant gifts as they do not watch the American animated television which constantly advertises big toys looking just so great on the screen.
Pitt also claims that as soon as his children watch some TV they start begging for toys; so he and Jolie figured out that if the kids don’t see them they will not know that those toys exist. The Burn After Reading star explained, that it is a custom in his family to hand-make the Christmas gifts, which, however, should not bee too extravagant at the same time. The presents need not to be expensive but time needs to be invested in making them. In the result, the family shares a really touching moment when each member gives out the prepared presents.
