The story began in December 2007 when the Oscar-winning actor Sean Penn, then 46, and Robin Wright Penn, younger by five years, decided to call it a day after living together for 11 years.
Then, the following April, they filed a request to dismiss the divorce petition. Yet their reconsideration hadn’t been long-lived.
But now it looks like we’re having the second installment coming. Another request of dismissal has been filed in court records, Marin County, Calif. A change of heart is in the air.
“This appears to imply that they’re reconciling again,” is the opinion of the divorce lawyer Lynn Soodik. She has no connection with the case, but can think of no other reason to try and put a stop to a divorce procedure.
Sean Penn‘s lawyer was in no hurry to call back with a comment. Robin Wright is away in Cannes where she is in a jury at the Film Festival. Last Thursday she also appeared at the amfAR Cinema Against AIDS benefit.
