The life of actor John Travolta has recently turned into a series of scandals and “dirty” gossip: the star was accused of sexual harassment by several men. The actor’s lawyers provided him with an alibi, but the fans still cannot forget it.
And now, when the rumors have gone down, the actor was once again attacked – this time by his colleague, actress Rashida Jones.
In one of her interviews, Rashida, the younger daughter of music producer Quincy Jones, suggested that Travolta should stop concealing the fact of being gay.
In an interview with one of the Internet portals, the 36-year-old actress expressed her admiration for the recent declarations of being gay on the part of rapper Frank Ocean and journalist Anderson Cooper. And she added:
“And a movie star! It’s time … Like John Travolta? Come out! Come on. How many masseurs have to come forward? Let’s do this.”
Rashida noted how important it was for the mature celebrities to tell the truth about themselves:
“But big stars need to come out. Ricky Martin was huge. That was big; I was really happy about that.”
Resolute Jones also adds that Travolta has to be frank now because people will not be able to know the truth after his death. Rashida summed up with disappointment:
“People are so precious about their careers.”
It is unknown if John Travolta will follow the exhortations of his colleague, and it is unknown why Rashida is so confident of the actor’s “unconventional” sexual orientation. But it is unlikely that Travolta had hired an army of lawyers because of the “case of masseurs” and would then stick to Jones’ advice.
