The Desperate Housewives star, Eva Longoria, who just turned 34, was named the Sexiest TV Star 2009 according to TV Guide’s poll. Eva admitted she enjoys aging as, in her opinion, this makes her wiser and more experienced.
Longoria’s co-winner of the top award, Simon Baker, the star of The Mentalist show since September 2008, was surprised at the magazine’s choice. The on-screen heartthrob expected his children would giggle at this title. By the way, Simon, as Patrick Jane, the lead character of the series, dethroned the former sexiest Patrick Dempsey, who has become significantly famous for his role as Dr. Derek Shepherd in the TV drama Grey’s Anatomy.
Such sexy TV stars and celebrities as Jennie Garth (90210), Kim and Kourtney Kardashian also appeared on the TV Guide’s annual spree in Los Angeles on March 24.
