Cynthia Nixon is proud of her happiness; last Sunday she announced to the whole world that she and her long-standing girlfriend Christine Marinoni decided to get married. They were thinking about it for quite some time, but finalized their decision only now. Nixon showed off her engagement ring at the gay rights demonstration in New York.
Cynthia also stated that they would definitely want to get married in New York, if it was legal there. She would not want a secret wedding, but rather a real and legal one, recognized by the State.
Cynthia strives to fulfill her dream by supporting the bill which, if passed, would legalize gay marriages.
Let us remind you, that the “Sex and the City” star has two children from Danny Mozes, a British professor, with whom she lived for many years. Cynthia and Christine recently took the children to Disneyland.
