Britney Spears’ new album, Femme Fatale, the result of three years’ work, is finally out creating a buzz it fully deserves. The release was marked with Britney’s performance on Sunday’s Good Morning America. Now’s the time for some excellent promotional photos which all feature clothes made for the pop diva by Dolce & Gabbana.
The clothes seem to be a labor of love, since the top-shelf designers profess a great admiration for Spears’ music. Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana congratulated the singer for her “new, important achievement” and (according to them) are dancing to the new record while Spears is sporting their creations.
Among the pieces made by D&G especially for the promotion ads are a closed one-piece polka dot swimsuit, a sexy corset top with high waist skin-tight knickers, and romantic-looking satin bodices.
The designers hold Spears as one of their favorite artists “because she has been able to remain true to herself and to her style throughout the years” and give her credit for her long-time incessant success.
The Italian house also fitted out Kylie Minogue who is wearing D&G on her ongoing world tour.
