The National League of Junior Cotillions has come up with its annual “Ten Best-Mannered People of 2011″ etiquette list made up by the League’s etiquette and social training program, hailing the renowned British royal wife as the best-mannered person of the year.
The NLJC national director Elizabeth Anne Winters reminded that the list rates celebrities of all spheres of life who have displayed “dignity, honor and respect” throughout the year, Kate Middleton winning the laurels for 2011.
Middleton – married to Prince William since this spring – was an undoubted front-runner, Winters added, having shown unshakable dignity and poise in the public.
The British royal wife is followed on the list by toppers Justin Bieber and Paula Abdul; other celebs whose behavior during the year was considered to be exemplary are Taylor Swift who comes fifth and Emma Watson who holds the ninth place.
Notorious divorcee Kim Kardashian is not on the list, scratched off for dragging a private matter out before the public and “disrespecting the institution of marriage”; she has been given the title of the “Most Ill-Mannered” celebrity of the year.
