According to MediaTakeOut, Rihanna was soon discharged and transported to her home in Los Angeles.
The 24-year-old pop star has long been into incessant partying, tweeting unashamedly photos of herself reveling in night clubs. In the beginning of May it was a pic from a bawdy get-together at N.Y.’s Queens strip club where she often hangs out; the latest one was an after-gala pic of her undergoing an IV.
Everybody knows that Rihanna is fond of partying, but during the last month it’s been getting much worse, Star magazine that runs a feature about the Barbadian celeb was told by a source. She seems to have been constantly on weed and booze lately, not missing a single day.
The year 2012 was for the Umbrella singer an ongoing round of nightlife in the most outlandish spots all over the globe, in New York, Hawaii, London, and Sydney. “Crazy” was a comment of an inside source on how she was going on.
It is believed in her circle that Rihanna is keeping up this lifestyle in an attempt to escape from boredom and the loneliness of an artist on tour – it is distressing to just sit on in a hotel room. “She’s actually a very lonely girl,” says a source close to the singer.
Another aggravating factor turning the pop beauty to drowning herself in party life is residual affection for Chris Brown, her ex, a reunion with whom was recently speculated on in the media.
To show that no reunion was forthcoming, Brown had his new girlfriend Karrueche Tran’s face tattooed on his arm – and that sent Rihanna further into the gloom. “She’s been obsessed with the thought that he’s going to marry Karrueche and she’ll never be able to get back with him,” spilled an insider.
The singer keeps telling she is enjoying herself, but people around her know she’s got a lot of pain to kill and she’s just pretending, another Star’s source tells. Her friends have been urging her to tone it down and undergo therapy for some time.
Of course, drinking to ease things up is what Rihanna saw back home in Barbados, where her father Ronald Fenty developed a similar addiction… Making her friends worry lest she should walk the same road. Also, the recent death of Whitney Houston showed what happens unless one takes pains to extricate oneself from the mess.
