There has been a longstanding speculation in Hollywood if Kelly McGillis is gay. Some believed she’s a lesbian, others had doubts saying Kelly has been married twice and had two children. But the former turned out to be right.
Kelly McGillis denied her gay sexuality until her recent Internet interview with Girl Rock! In the interview, the 51-year-old actress confessed that she’d been suppressing her desires for 40 years and thought that God was punishing her.
Now McGillis is ready to change her life and move on, accepting her sexuality. McGillis told Girl Rock! she was in the market for a partner, and when asked if she’s looking for a man or a woman, said firmly: “Definitely a woman”.
McGillis is single now. She divorced from her first husband Boyd Black after 3 years of marriage, and then lived with her second husband, Californian millionaire Fred Tillman, for 13 years.
