The day of the Screen Actors Guild Awards was also the first day of Katrina Bowden’s engagement, and she walked the red carpet sporting an engagement ring from her boyfriend Ben Jorgensen.
Bowden, 23, and Jorgensen, 28, frontman of Armor for Sleep, have been dating for something like two years and have already discussed marriage, yet the musician managed to catch his lovely lady by surprise on the eve of the SAG Awards.
It was so unexpected that she even forgot to answer properly – as Bowden shared with E! host Giuliana Rancic near the Shrine Exposition Center in Los Angeles on Sunday. When Jorgensen flashed the ring, which he had chosen himself in secret, she was astounded and could only say “Oh, my God!” before hugging him.
The fiancé had to inquire whether she really meant “yes”!
The 30 Rock star is working in support of her comedy show nominated for honors for outstanding performance by an ensemble.
