While the marriage of two reality show stars Jon, 32, and Kate, 34, Gosselin is disintegrating fast, Kate is still wearing Jon’s ring, the one he gave her this summer when they were going through a lull… before the storm, as we know now. Talking about the last phase of their relationship in Today show this Monday, Kate also touched on the subject of rings.
“It’s my Hawaii ring,” she said displaying the ring that once symbolized their August get-together. But now its days are numbered. For Kate is determined to switch her ring.
Resenting the obnoxious atmosphere thickening around their divorce, she made up her mind to get rid of Jon’s ring and get a new one that won’t remind her of the past.
Her decision is backed up by the children.
“We discussed a ring I might buy,” she added. “It has eight little diamonds and a mother of pearl.”
