The TLC stars Jon and Kate Gosselin, having started the divorce procedures, don’t intend to neglect their children. They had decided to shelve their disputes and make July 4th a perfect family holiday.
Kate’s point of view as related to the People magazine sounds pretty strong: “Jon pointed to the July 4 holiday and said, ‘What are we going to do about that?’ I absolutely cannot imagine not spending every single holiday with my kids. I don’t care what it takes. I will be there.”
And it was a merry gathering for the ten of them at their home in Wernersville, Pa. Kate baked a blueberry cake with the berries that had been picked by the children, Jon amused everyone lighting sparklers. Some volleyball was played. It appeared a true Jon & Kate Plus 8 event.
