Yough British actress and photomodel Emma Watson, known for her role as Hermione in the Harry Potter series, is envied by many girls. However, as it turned out, it took Emma much time and efforts to accept her appearance.
The 22-year-old actress admitted in an interview with the British edition of the Glamour magazine that she was able to reconcile with her figure only when she became adult. She went through a stage of compulsive thoughts about looking like a fashion model from head to toes. But despite the fact that she has some rounded body areas and wide hips, with time she learned to accept herself for who she is.
Her weight fluctuated between sizes 6 and 10. When a person grows up, and the body is still developing, it takes some time until the figure takes a more permanent shape.
Emma keeps repeating to herself that she is just a human being, an imperfect one, who does not necessarily have to look like a doll. She understands that being a good person is far more important than her figure at the moment.
Emma admitted that it was very painful for her to see young women under pressure for weight loss. She feels sorry to hear how young girls constantly contempt themselves because of that. The young actress confesses that people really have these incredibly high expectations for themselves, but, in fact, we are just human beings, and our bodies have a different function.
According to Emma Watson, women mistakingly believe that this pressure comes from men. But in reality, it is women who put pressure on each other. Nowadays, women feel enormous pressure that can turn them against each other. When women are engaged in self-abasement, they lose self-confidence. So Emma prefers not to practice this type of an attitude.
