The whole world was shocked when the news of the mass shootings in the primary school of Sandy Hook appeared: a 20-year-old man shot almost thirty children and teachers.
Such attacks are not uncommon for the U.S., where almost every family has a weapon and 34 people die from gunshot wounds every day. Nowadays more and more concerned Americans raise the issue of changing the law on weapons.
The stars are not lagging behind: Jennifer Aniston, Cameron Diaz, Gwyneth Paltrow, Selena Gomez, Beyonce, Jessica Alba, Courtney Cox, Reese Witherspoon and other concerned celebrities, many of whom are worried about their children, supported the new bill Demand A Plan. The bill calls on toughening the law on firearms.
“How many more colleges? How many more classrooms? How many more movie theaters?…”

Perhaps, the U.S. authorities will be more strict with gun owners after the star supporters have joined in; at the same time it might help avoid further tragedies.
