The shooting of the new film by David O. Russell is in full swing. Apart from Christian Bale and Amy Adams, an already established on-screen couple – Jennifer Lawrence and Bradley Cooper – has joined the process.
They appeared on the filming ground in an interesting way: Jennifer was memorizing phrases from the script, walking through the area in a dress with an extreme cleavage. She was also wearing a fur coat, reaching the floor. Bradley tried a hairdo that Timberlake used to have in the 1990-s.
Jennifer Lawrence & Bradley Cooper
This is the third joint work of Lawrence and Cooper (and the second film by the same director). The actors have proved their worthiness on the screen at the end of last year, when the film “Silver Linings Handbook” was released. It brought Jennifer the coveted “Oscar” award. This year, two more pictures with the famous couple of actors are expected: the drama “Serena” and a project with the working title “American Rubbish”, the shooting of which we are already witnessing.
Leonardo DiCaprio & Kate Winslet
This is not the first time that the lucrative star tandem appears on the screen more than once (or twice). For example, Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet, followed by thousands of couples around the world photographed in the famous “Titanic” pose, repeated their success ten years later, when they appeared on screen together in the “Revolutionary Road” drama.
Matthew McConaughey & Kate Hudson
Matthew McConaughey and Kate Hudson are one of the most successful screen couples of the 2000-s. Their first collaboration was in the comedy “How to Lose a Guy in Ten Days.” Five years later, Matthew and Kate played lovers again in the comedy “Fool’s Gold.”
Tom Hanks & Meg Ryan
In the nineties, the cinema world had another “iconic” tandem – Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan. Their first collaboration was in the melodrama “Joe Versus the Volcano”. The name of the film might fail to tell you anything, but the following two motion pictures are well-known for sure: “You’ve Got Mail” (1998) and, of course, “Sleepless in Seattle” (1993), which became one of the classic films about love.
Jennifer Aniston & Jason Bateman
“An on-screen couple” does not always mean performing the role of two beloved people. A striking example is the tandem of Jennifer Aniston and Jason Bateman. In 2010, they played best friends in the movie “The Switch” (of course, we see it only as we follow the plot). In the 2011 comedy “Horrible Bosses,” Aniston played one of suchlike bosses, and Bateman acted as an unfortunate subordinate.
By the way, the shooting of the sequel is anticipated now: in this new movie, the main characters will work under even more unbearable bosses and will wistfully recall their former bosses. It is still unknown what film character Jason has in store for him, and whether Aniston is going to take part in the filming.
