A group of researchers from the University of North Carolina developed a special test which can determine the rate of biochemical aging of the body, as they discovered a special protein p16INK4a. The protein helps determine the actual degree of age-related changes in the organism. Full story

Scientists from Matsumoto Dental University, Japan, have managed to grow hair out of embryonic stem cells. Scientists extracted stem cells from the teeth of mice embryos and combined them with embryonic stem cells which form the basis of skin cells. This "stem cells mix" was placed into an incubator.
