Loosing weight in one day? I have recently come around an interesting intensive one day diet. Unlike the rest of the diets, this one does not force you to starve for the whole day, which is very unhealthy for the body as well as the nervous system. To lower your weight fast it takes only to go on a fruit diet, according to which you consume no more than 810 calories and do not feel the shortage of healthy nutrients.
Breakfast
The breakfast, for those who wish to get slim in one day, should start with a salad made with cottage cheese. You will need 200 grams of non-fat cream cheese. Add 0,11 lbs (or 50 grams) of mineral water to the cheese. Blend the mix and then add finely cut half of a banana. Sprinkle the salad with some lemon juice.
Lunch
One apple makes a nice snack before lunch. As for the lunch – have some pancakes fried on one tablespoon of oil. The pancake dough is made with one tablespoon of flour, one egg, six tablespoons of mineral water and some sugar. Mix the ingredients well. Eat the pancakes with one tablespoon of apple pureé.
Afternoon Snack and Dinner
Have one apple again for the afternoon snack. Dinner is a fruit salad. To make the salad, take any of the four types of fruits, cut them, and add some orange juice and one tablespoon of honey.
Meals at the End of the Day
No need to feel guilty for eating an apple right before bedtime. By following this diet, the body will get enough food, and you will not feel hunger at all. In addition, the calorie intake is quite low while the food itself is very tasty.

I’m not sure if this is a very realistic method to weight loss. Losing weight should be looked at with a long term view in mind as weight loss is achieved through habitual changes over a long time. Yes this would create a temorary loss of weight, however this is not a long term stategy if you wish to remain healthy.
For breakfast, when you say salad, is that a fruit salad?
I have done a fruit diet before very much like this, yes it does make you lose weight fast but it also leaves you still hungry alot and after you stop the diet you gain weight very fast.
To be healthy and look great it’s not about diets, it’s about moderation. You can still eat foods you love (in moderation) and along with exercise.
I agree with what Michael said about long term. Don’t forget you can’t expect things to just happen you have to work for them!

Yeah I agree with Michael and Elisha. To lose 1kg of weight you need to burn 7600 calories. In one day even if you ate nothing you would only burn around 2500 calories, so the most fat you can expect to lose in 1 day is around 300grams. If you lose any more than that is will be in fluid and you will put it straight back on when you drink again. Not a very sensible diet.
Are you serious are us supposed to feel full after a fruit salat for dinner and some cottage cheese for breakfastm, please give me a break!!

No way will this work, to lose fat you need to eat protein, fiber, complex carbohydrates (oatmeal, brown bread, granola bars) and drink plenty of water, also a good method of fat loss is to eat small meals throughout the day to boost your metabolism, about six 300 calorie meals with plenty of all of the above food types. You need to exercise regularly, things like cycling, jogging or even walking instead of taking the car on short journeys, do this because you must force your body to burn fat instead of carbs. As with everything take it in moderation exercise.

From what I know and from what I have researched, the secret is to stop eating white foods. Like white bread, things containing flour, sugar and salt,eat less patatoe, pasta, have wholegraine bread and pasta/rice instead. Water , water, water at least 8 cups a day. Have a 600ml water bottle with you, as soon as it empties refill it again. During the day when you need a snack drink water or have a piece of fruit instead of coffee, chocolate, cake, buiscuits, quit using butter and use no more than 1 tbspn olive oil in your meals. Exercise , and do activities that you enjoy at least 30mins for at least 3-4 days a week.
Stop having maca’s hungry jacks and cook your own meal healthly, when you buy takeaway foods you dont know exactly how they cook it, example wether their hands were clean or not. Stop buying snacks for home and fill your fridge with fruits and vegetables.

Fruit is the best thing to eat if you need to drop a few pounds, It’s good for you and you should be eating fruit daily. To lose the most pounds, give yourself 2 weeks and eat all the fruit you want, start your morning with a banana or two or even three, wait at least 90 minutes before switching to a different fruit. Again, eat your fill, Strawberries, melon, whatever you desire, Apples are great, oranges. Just be sure one you finish one particular fruit, wait 90 minutes before you switch fruits. I know this works, it worked for me. You will lose weight, you will not be hungry, you have energy. After 2 weeks, I dropped 14 pounds. I’d been struggling with it because 6 months ago, I was diagnosed with an under active thyroid, hard to lose weight. I feel great but for the most part I eat a healthy diet anyway, stopped eating junk food and did the fruit, down 14 pounds and never felt better.

Ok Ok lets settle things here everyone knows the easiest most effective way to die is to not snack during the day and do at the very least 30 mins a day of excersize always keep a healthy diet im about 5 foot 10 and weigh 11 odd stone but im broad and just naturally big im not fat i work out alot but some people are born being big not fat just big and broad tbh to everyone trying to diet just keep working at it and only bother if you are going to do it

i think all of you are conforming to societies views of what a healthy woman should look like, NOT every women will fit a “standard” size 6 and you people need to teach your children that this is complete blasphamy! children, you shape and size will change appx every couple years and its something that you have to come to terms with…love yourself first, cheerleading is not a career, it is a hobby, read a book (not a magazine) and you will get a lot further in life consult you doctors or SOMETHING along the lines of one if you really would like help losing weight
I would just like to say that not everyone is conforming to societies views. Some people have realistic reasons to lose weight. Like making a weight class for wrestling or powerlifting. I personally have to be under 145 to make weight to qualify for the Air Force when i go to MEPS tomorrow. I am more than willing to try this diet if it helps lose weight.

Firstly you need to understand that obbsessive eating is an addiction – you have t conquer this and get proffessional help. It can take many months of hard work to break habits and form new ones and you will need constant supervision because you can’t do it alone. This is something you also have to understand.
Secondly don’t try to hard and get yourself down. If you don’t get results then don’t give up and “pig out”. You don’t need to do alot of exercise, just 1 hour a day walking on a treadmill. Its a good idea to get some high protein suppliment milkshake to fill you up and change the ratio of you diet from carb to protein. Take 1/2 pints a day, eat only meat, salad and veg and keep starchy foods to a minimum (pototatoes, crisp, rice, bread) do this and walking the treadmill everyday (no exeptions) then I guarranteed after 6 months you will have lost 3/4 stone.
My girlfriend did this and she halved her body weight. You HAVE to stay determined and focus on your goal at all times – make it your new obbession!

i am 13 5’2 and weight 140lbs. the best thing to do is:
1. cut all white products offf your meals.
2.dont eat candy
3.dont eat junk food
4. dont drink soda, coffee, smoothies or any type of drink that has fatening. only drink sport drinks and water
Also, you should do atleast 2 miles on the tredmill, which took me about 30 min?? and also do other excersises. for example…. bike, 5-8lb weights and aerobic machines.
Another thing that helped me was that i divided my plate into 4 parts… 1/4 of anything i want to eat. So, you should have some meat, brown bread instead of rice…. fruit vegetables and a lot of water.

This is advice for anyone under 16, if you really feel overweight please dont try a crash or drastic diet! You will make your selfs ill and end up with weight problems the rest of your life. What you should do is swap your snacks to healthy low fat things such as fruit and veg. Drink 8 glasses of water each day. Losing weight in one day isn’t hard at all, it is losing it consistently and at a healthy rate that is the problem for most people. Our weight fluctuates throughout the day depending on so many variables such as exercise, food intake etc. The best method is to lower your calorie intake and burn more calories then you consume through exercise and you will be able to lose weight safely and effectively.

Well i’ll be 19 in march and i been goin to workout at my local boxing gym because im going to enlist in the air force. Ok i recently was 260 and i lost like 5-7 pounds. I was a wrestler for a couple years if you can do this diet and summen up the will power to push your self to the limit with running and long fast paced exersise situps, pushups, quick feet, high knees, and sprawls (dropping from standing position to pushup form and doing complete pushup, repeat=sprawl) you can lose more weight than imaginable in one day ive lost 5 pounds in 24hrs and a close friend lost 7 pounds rite before his weigh in i started at 170 pounds and wrestled 145′s in 2 weeks all it takes is drive determination and a will to push your slef further than you think you can

Okay its frightening to see such young ladies on this site saying how much weight they “need” to lose! I am 24 im 5’8 and 145 pounds. I wear a size eight. all my life I have struggled with my weight. I was 150 lbs in highschool went up to 170 in college and then dropped down to 140. So Ive been through it. I know its hard to be different, to be labled as the “fat kid” things got so bad I had to change schools because the other children were so mean. They would make pig noises as I walked down the hallway, they would throw food at me etc. I started crash dieting and skipping meals because I thought that would fix things. It didnt. I thought there was nothing that I could do. I felt so alone in this world. But then I found a friend and that one friend introduced me to a few more friends and life wasnt as bad any more. I talked to my family about how I was feeling. Together we made a plan. We changed the diet slightly. That didnt mean giving up junk food or soda completely it just meant that it was more of a treat, an occasional food rather than every day. We started eating more fruits and veg. We began to play sports and exercise and eventually the weight does come off. it does not happen over night. there are no quick fixes.

I have an immense amount of weight around my waist. I think it all came about after a long period of depression, when I got laid off from my job. I started drinking, and eating like a pig. I found another job, and I find that my routine and habits are better when I am working. I usually only eat when necessary, and when I spend a whole day working at the office, I tend to spend my free time doing other things, rather than sitting in front of the TV downing Toaster Strudel’s. I think the most important thing is to drag yourself out of the lifestyle that encourages overeating, and find substitutes. I used to drink a lot of soda too, and one day I found a some discounted spring water at my local Wal-Mart. Now initially I got it to make some cocktails, but I was dehydrated and instead of hitting a soda, I had some of that water, and now I wouldn’t touch the soda because I have realised I was addicted to the bubbles and the way they tickle my throat. When I wanted a sundae, I had a yogurt instead, and when I wanted a candy bar, I would have a slice of mango instead. These things are not easy to do, and you will slip sometimes, but as long as you fill your house with healthy alternatives rather than the fattening junk, you will be restricting your choices, and though you may not like it at first, after that yogurt, you won’t even feel like the sundae. I work in a delivery office for a courier firm, and since it is close enough, I walk there every morning, and it takes me about 40 minutes to get there. This also gives me plenty of exercise, and I have only made these simple lifestyle choices and found a lot of difference can be made. Now, when I see pizza flyers, I just throw them in the bin. When I go out, I take a freshly made sandwich with me, so I don’t buy junk food from the mall, and if you take bottled water with you, you are less likely to buy a soda.I still have some flab on my waist, but I am confident that with my new routine, I will soon be trim, bearing in mind this is Xmas, and it is hard to keep up any weight loss routines!
I would urge people not to give up, to be healthy and to be happy. We can do it when we really try, but we must aim to put the junk out of sight, and out of our homes. Let the food corporations go bankrupt because they are killing us with stuff they wouldn’t give to their own kids.
well…. im only 12 years old and i just started to notice my “double chin” go away so i am deciding to go on a diet today…… FOR EVERYONE WHO FEELS BAD……I WEIGH 154 POUNDS AND IM ONLY 12.ITS HORRIBLE!!!! EVERYONE CALLS ME FAT IN SCHOOL AND I JUST WANT TO LOOSE SOME WEIGHT!! SOMETIMES I FEEL DEPRESSED AND LOST IN THIS WORLD…… I JUST WANT TO LOOSE SOME WEIGHT AND BE 100 POUNDS LIKE ALL THE OTHER KIDS…. THERE ARE MUCH HEALTHIER WAYS TO LOOSE WEIGHT. 1 day pfft, takes a couple of months if you work hard.MY 3 tips i used(am 16). EXERCISE EVERYDAY, DONT EAT CRAPPY FOODs (grill it, fruit and healthier options) and drink lots of water…..dont be disapointed if you dont lose anything in one day…. im constantly switching between 10.9st and 11.1 st with constant muscle flux……

dont ask for losing weight in one day , cause it’s just called stupid and it will harm your body , plus when you do this later you might find your self gaining it all back again ..so if you really want to lose weight it’s either exercising daily you can first start with half an hour, and each day add 5 minutes more, in case you can’t stop eating what you should be doing then is after each meal do some exercise to burn it all, or you can eat less ,food like fruits ,vegetables, protein wont harm because having a bit of protein will help your body burn to get energy “”and if you want to have some meat you should grill the meat not fry it”" drink water loads of water and juice is good as well this way you will lose weight and if you added exercise it will be quicker so it’s about eating healthy try this and it will help
For those who are of age.. i am 6′ tall used to weigh 262 pounds. I was only getting heavier and heavier.. i have started a diet along with phentrimine and vitamin b12 shots and have had amazing results. I dont know how much phentremine has helped butmy motivation is through the roof.. alng with plenty of excersise and DRAMATIC changes in my diet i have lost 30 pounds in 5 weeks and 2-3 pant sizes.. my blood pressure has gone from 135/88 to 115/73.. i feel so great and want to continue until i reach my goal of 200lbs… good luck to everyone if youre interested in phentremine its only available by prescription so youll have to see a doctor.. my doctor is a medical weight md specialist..

Okay….First of all, although this diet MAY SEEM healthy, it is NOT realistic and is seriously lacking in some major key vitamins and minerals. YES, you should eat a goodly amount of fruit EVERYDAY and it most certainly is SMART to SNACK on fruit instead of cakes, chips, cookies, etc. But this diet is missing SUFFICIENT CALORIE INTAKE. One should NEVER drop their calorie intake below 1100 per day. Doing so causes one’s body to STARVE and you will end up SLOWING DOWN your METABOLISM- if you want to lose weight, you want to INCREASE your metabolism. This diet is also severely lacking PROTEIN, CALCIUM, IRON, etc. So alright, snack on the apple and drink 16 oz. of water- good start, but you need to balance out the carbs with protein, so also eat a quarter cup of nuts or 1 oz. of fat-free, low-fat, or reduced-fat cheese or yogurt or at the very least include 3 oz. of lean white meat or fish and SOME spinach or broccoli or BEANS/Legumes or other vegetables in your meal. This diet is also missing WHOLE GRAINS and FIBER. Without fiber (both soluble and insoluble) and protein in your diet, you’re not going to feel very full. This is just ANOTHER CRASH DIET. Everyone knows that CRASH diets ONLY work for short-term TEMPORARY weight loss- the effects are NOT permanent and the weight lost WILL be gained back and (most likely) then some. All this diet is going to do is leave you hungry, unsatisfied, and OUT OF ENERGY. Although the extra fruit and water consumption is a good idea, this diet still needs MORE.
Let me tell you a brief anatomy& physiology lesson to tell you WHY this particular diet will NOT Work. By natural processes, a human’s body’s first choice of energy, from food, comes from CARBOHYDRATES. If not eaten in excess, (given the body is functioning as efficiently as it should) the carbs will be broken down within the body into their simplest form- sugars- a good deal of which goes to the brain- THAT’S RIGHT, YOUR BRAIN NEEDS CARBS. The rest will be distributed throughout the body to muscles and various other organs and used as energy. HOWEVER, if there is excess sugar levels in the blood, the body MUST produce extra Insulin which will turn this extra glucose (sugar) into glycogen and be stored as FAT. Remember how I said that carbs (sugars) are the body’s first choice for energy consumption? Their are 3 food-types that your body uses for energy and second on that list is FAT. When the body exhausts all sugars from the blood – AS WELL AS WHILE YOU SLEEP- Your body USES STORED FAT AS ENERGY. It reverses the process described above for storage of excess glucose. The body takes the fat and turns it BACK into a SUGAR. Yes, sugars can become fat and fat can become sugar. Are you with me so far? Third on that list is PROTEIN. If both glucose and fat supplies are exhausted, the body will use protein for energy. THIS IS WHY YOU SHOULD NEVER GO ON A DIET BELOW 1100 CALORIES. Because, if you do so and your body is not getting sufficient nutrients from diet and fat storage, your body will start breaking down muscle and tissues to use for energy- ESSENTIALLY THE BODY EATS ITSELF. Remember, YOUR HEART IS A MUSCLE, and that you definitely do not want to have it’s tissues broken down because the heart typically does NOT regrow tissues (and if it does, it is only scar tissue). That is a VERY DANGEROUS scenario.
In order to effectively lose weight and KEEP IT OFF, (and be HEALTHY about it) you need to ACTUALLY change HOW YOU EAT, and stick with it even after the weight is gone, or else you WILL gain it all back. You also need exercise in order to burn off excess calories consumed so they aren’t converted into fat storage. You NEED to eat in MODERATION and make smarter food choices. Want something sweet? Grab some fruit instead of that twinkie, or a bowl of whole grain naturally sweetened cereal. Want something a little salty? Grab some (like only 6 or 7) whole grain crackers instead of that bag of chips. Want something cheesy or creamy? Choose lower fat versions of your favorite dairy products. Feeling a little carnivorous? Chose skin-less chicken breast, white meats, fish, lean red meats, beans, mushrooms, nuts/seeds, eggplant or other squash. If you have a soft spot for buttery or fried foods, chose healthier options by using olive or grapeseed oil, low-fat spreads made with no trans-fat and low or no saturated fats, and brush it on and bake or broiled the food instead of deep-fat frying or do a half and half by cooking most of the way in the oven and then a quick fry to finish it off- don’t forget to dab off the excess oils with a paper towel. Steam your vegetables FIRST and THEN put just 1/2 – 1 tbsp of oil/spread before serving/eating. Bake your fries instead of frying. You can always brush on a bit of oil before popping them into the oven for added flavor without the added fat, cholesterol and calories. Be REASONABLE with your proportions. Try eating meals off of a smaller plate. Make one half of your plate fruit and or vegetables, one quarter meat/protein and one quarter of your plate grains/fiber. For dairy, you can use 8 oz. of milk, or 1 oz. cheese; 4 oz. yogurt, sherbet, or ice cream; or 2 Tbsp. sour cream, dairy-style dip, or whipped cream- instead of eating 1/2 cup of the stuff. Instead of eating 6 slices of pizza, eat only one (sometimes 2 is okay) slice and then fill up with salad or your favorite vegetable. Instead of eating 3 large meals per day, eat 5 or 6 smaller meals (200 – 350 calories each). The more level you keep your blood sugar the less hungry you will be and therefor, less likely to overindulge. Or eat 3 moderate sized meals (300 – 450 calories each) and 2 or 3 moderate snacks (100- 200 calories each) per day. And exercise regularly is the key. If you don’t like walking, jogging, or going to the gym, you can try swimming, biking, karate, kick-boxing, yoga or dancing- all of which burn substantially more calories than walking or running alone. Just remember to move around more and not be sedimentary. Cooking, cleaning, washing the dog/car, and playing with the kids all burn calories. Aim for a minimum of 30 minutes a day, 3-5 times a week or if that seems like too much, then 15 minutes a day 5 -7 times a week. Weight loss isn’t rocket-science- it is pretty much common sense, you just need to work at it and be conscience of your decision making when it comes to food. And instead of thinking of the short-term “fast” solution, opt for a long-term permanent solution to your weight problems.
im 13 5ft3 1/2 and 9st i have a new attitude towards food now
.have breakfast but not a fry and make sure it isnt a huge breakie
.dont eat untill lunch but if you do feel pickish have an apple or banana
.have a light lunch and dont eat till dinner but do 2 hours excercise instead
.at dinner eat meat and vegetables
.have fruit before bed and make sure you eat nothing after 8 as it will store in your body and instead do 20 minutes of excercise to burn off your dinner
.this will work and you should lose 7lbs in 2-3 days if you dont then you are not doing it right

You may be eating healthy food but this is NOT a healthy way to lose weight. You can’t live on this diet and once you start eating a bit more(even just a small bit more!!) you’ll gain weight straight away. It’s sad seeing all these little girls who feel they need to be the thinner, society is a bitch. Little kids shouldn’t feel the need to be “perfect” at their age, girls if you really want to lose weight do it healthily, not this way. You need cardio excercise, drink lots of WATER, eat healthy foods that will fill you up! And remember, muscle weights more than fat.
this is so not going to work because orange juice and other sugars (whole wheat) bread actually makes you fat. WOW!!!
