It finally happened – Kim Kardashian’s resplendent wedding took place Saturday in Montecito, California, and the gorgeous 30-year-old socialite now knows how it feels to be Mrs. Humphries!
As Us Weekly reports, the festive event saw the coming together – besides all of Kim’s family members – of many celebrities including Ryan Seacrest, Eva Longoria, Brittny Gastineau, Ciara, George Lopez, Mario Lopez , Jonathan Cheban, Lala Vasquez, and Sugar Ray Leonard. The bride strutted around in a custom-made Vera Wang gown.
The wedding is crowning Humphries and Kardashian’s May engagement following a six-month dating. Kourtney and Khloe were co-maids of honor, and the younger members of the family Kendall, Kylie with Kris’ sister Kaela acted as bridesmaids. E! Online informs that the bridesmaids were also wearing ivory-hued Vera Wang’s gowns. The ring bearer was not-quite-two-year-old Mason, son of Kourtney and Scott Disick.
The wedding cake was courtesy of Hansen Cakes in L.A., and, according to an Us source, was a replica of the cake that was served on April 29 at the wedding of Prince William and Duchess Kate. It cost the family around $18,000!
And that’s only a beginning. A grand party for the newlyweds is being planned to be thrown in New York in September; Jason Binn, Niche Media founder, and Colin Cowie, famous wedding planner, want to celebrate the nuptials in their own way.
