Highly respected Forbes magazine has published its annual “Most powerful women” list. For the third year running, Germany chancellor ranks first on the list. Angela Merkel is the world’s most powerful woman. Forbes says that Merkel contributed greatly to the German economy and her political achievements are hard to overestimate.
Sheila Bair, chairman of Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, ranked second on the list. Indra Nooyi, CEO of PepsiCo, ranked third.
