The annual rating of the most influential celebrities around the world was released by the American magazine Forbes. The leader of the list did not change this time. The leading position is still held by the television host Oprah Winfrey; she earned $275 million last year. The rating was first of all based on the last year’s income and the frequency the star appeared in the mass media.
The second place was given to the golf-player Tiger Woods. The list also included two famous couples. First couple – Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, they took third and tenth positions respectively. The second pair was Beyonce Knowles and Jay Z, located at the forth and seventh positions.
Fifth place was occupied by the football player David Beckham. Johnny Depp followed him at the sixth position. The British writer Joan Rowling found herself at the ninth place.
