Secrets is the second single from OneRepublic, an American, self proclaimed “genreless” band from Colorado Springs, Colorado. The song was released from OneRepublic’s second studio album Waking Up on September 21, 2009. It was released as the first single in Germany and Austria instead of “All the Right Moves”, which was released in all countries except for the two. Secrets was the first single there because it is the soundtrack for Til Schweiger’s new film Zweiohrküken. The song rocketed up the German and Austrian airplay charts and as of October 27 has hit #1 on the iTunes chart in Germany. Secrets was released in the United States iTunes Store on November 3, 2009 and it had moderate success, staying at the top of the iTunes Rock chart for the week following its release.
