Eye Makeup Trend: Red Eyeshadow

After studying the makeup of fall shows, it’s safe to say that we are witnessing the birth of a new trend – unexpected eyeshadows of red hues: rust, crimson metallic, terracotta, orange… Are you ready to see the image with sickly eyes?

Red eyeshadows attracted people’s attention at the New York fashion shows. It would be enough to recall Diane von Furstenberg’s show, where makeup artist James Kaliardos used MAC cream eyeshadows in the Rusted Red shade for makeup.

Such a solution for the eyes could be seen on the Prabal Gurung catwalk, just as pink and blush colors, emphasizing fresh and young faces.

Altuzarra show has presented the images with crimson metallic shades created by Tom Pecheux (MAC, Loves Lure shade).

For the Gucci show, Pat McGrath combined deep burgundy eyeshadows with the models’ whitened eyebrows.
