This year’s spring will come with the fragrance of Rihanna’s first scent intriguingly called Reb’l Fleur.
The Reb’l Fleur – an improvisation on the spelling of Rebel Flower, the 22-year-old singer’s moniker given to her by her Barbados grandmother – represents Rihanna’s long-time search for reflecting herself fully in a fragrance. Her experimenting with different odors that stretched over a row of years left her with an acute desire to find “something that said ‘Rihanna was here.’”
The What’s My Name vocalist described her dream fragrance as a scent that will live a lingering, sexy memory with subtle and delicate touches.
Characterized by PEOPLE, Rihanna’s scent carries floral and fruit notes with overtones of vanilla, amber and patchouli. Reb’l Fleur is to be expected in March at the price of $49 for a 1.7 ounce bottle.
