A new Versace collection, presented by Donatella Versace at the start of another Fashion Week in Paris, fully corresponds to the haute couture concept, although there are no sophisticated designs and silhouette solutions in the collection. Instead of it, Versace Haute Couture Fall 2012 is an amazingly beautiful collection, which embodies its beauty in tiny, carefully developed details.
However, the new collection is a perfect embodiment of the Versace aesthetic to the smallest recognizable details, which include temptingly semi-transparent dresses with a high cut, almost reaching the hip. Having appeared in a similar dress by Versace on the red carpet, Angelina Jolie seems to have introduced an absolute fashion for this silhouette. The collection also includes embroidered emblems such as the famous Medusa head, a lot of naked skin, a little muted “watercolor” prints, ideally combined with a light, airy chiffon, and seductive short cocktail dresses for a change.
