The matter is not about hairdos, but about real necklaces of real human hair. The author of the idea who also put it into practice is Kerry Howley, an artist.
The idea is not to grow hair on bodies, no. We will still have to do epilating and remove unwanted hair from the body. But the artist liked human hair as the material from which one can make the subtlest filigree, to reflect the most complicated graphics.
Kerry Howley says that women are usually proud of their hair, and, generally, good hair has always been appreciated. Therefore, he decided to involve this valuable material into his jewellery art.
A hair necklace may be made in a form of:
- a vine
- an Ancient Greek order that decorated pillars
- pomegranate branches
- a delicate flower
- an iris flower
We think only Lady Gaga can dare to put it on. Or are there any other brave girls?
