Anticipating the sale of the pre-fall 2012 collection, Elie Saab fashion house has produced a short film called Balade a Paris to promote it.
The video demonstrates exclusive clothes and accessories that are usually reserved well in advance for the fashion editors. The filmmakers chose an original approach: the video does not show the models’ faces – the girls are shown either from the back or on the clouded general plan, or their faces are simply not in the camera. Thus, the attention is entirely focused on the things that are shown in great detail and the beautiful day and evening views of Paris, which really are the ideal setting for sumptuous and feminine clothes of the brand.
The video ends with the appearance of a mannequin wrapped in a mysterious haze, in an elegant flickering evening gown. A beautiful final!
