While the filming for the next installment of the legendary Spiderman is yet to be kicked off, a scandal has broken out around the movie. The script was rewritten three times, continually pushing back the start date for filming. Then it came out that Kirsten Dunst will be out the cast for the firth chapter of the iconic comic book adaptation, though her character was supposed to get killed in the fourth chapter.
Followed by Dunst, Columbia Pictures sacked the movie star Tobey Maguire and the director of all three chapters Sam Raimi. They won’t take part in the filming of the fourth chapter.
There is no word about new cast, except a name of script-writer. The name is James Vanderbilt who wrote the script for The Zodiac. New director and starring actors are yet to be selected. Premier is scheduled for summer of 2012.
