Vergara, who had the experience of an early marriage and childbirth at 20, is off marrying and bearing children, and completely satisfied with how her life is shaping now. “If she ever did change her mind, it would be because he wanted all of this,” another source said.
Even that possibility was always a remote one, for Vergara found it difficult to come to terms with Loeb’s plans, however supportive she could have been in public. Loeb’s run for Senate never came to happen because the Modern Family star didn’t want it to happen, a source revealed. Vergara gave out he needed more time to recover from his accident injuries, while she was really eager to hold on to her Hollywood career. Things turned nasty at Loeb’s press conference in Florida in November when he announced his decision not to run for Senate. As the source explained, they had a row “because Nick had assumed too many things and Sofia was not ready for any commitment.”
