Sarah Palin has to fight down rumors that have been pestering her family lately. The gossip around adultery in the Palin family leading to a divorce soon is a trumped-up affair on the part of mendacious reporters and bloggers, and Sarah Palin’s spokeswoman, Meg Stapleton, had to smother two Alaskan bloggers’ posts that were feeding the rumors.
“There is no truth to the recent ’story’ (and story is the correct term for this type of fiction) that the Palins are divorcing,” Stapleton says. “The Palins remain married, committed to each other and their family, and have not purchased land in Montana (last week it was reported to be Long Island).”
Further she reminded that Governor Palin had already addressed journalists with a request to ‘quit making things up.’ The Palins place their belief on media professionals who won’t go disseminating information that doesn’t ring true.
