The last time he experimented with is hairdo was his memorable appearance at Comic Con in San Diego in July when he turned up half-shaved and sporting wacky hair – but that was for his Cosmopolis thriller part, whereas this time his sudden hairstyle change was influenced by unknown private reasons.
As the British actor showed up at Los Angeles’ Nokia Live Theater for the People’s Choice Awards on Wednesday, he looked cool in a blue polo with frontal buttons and jeans – and a stunning buzz cut.
Pattinson, 25, had a good reason for coming – he collected a Favorite Drama Movie award for Water for Elephants, while Reese Witherspoon, his costar, was M.I.A.
When on the podium for the award, the actor said that there were so many people eligible for accepting the award that he had been surprised to have been elected. He said that acting in the movie turned out to be such fun that he had never given a thought that all that would be watched, enjoyed by a lot of people and finally given awards for. “I’m even more thankful for the whole experience,” said the freshly-buzz-cut movie star.
