What chances for Dina Lohan to try and stave off another arrest warrant for her daughter Lindsay? Well, she certainly makes an attempt to save her face at the MTV Movie Awards incident when Lindsay’s SCRAM bracelet went off.
SCRAM bracelets are supposed to detect the presence of alcohol in the wearer by his or her sweat. Yet Dina claims that the bracelet was triggered off not due to Lindsay indulging herself in alcohol. According to Dina’s statement to Page Six made via Dlisted, it was caused by somebody who was clumsy enough to splash his drink around, some of which hit the bracelet.
It’s rather difficult to tell offhand whether such an accident will make the SCRAM go off; on the other hand, the bracelets were known to act up. So, it’s up to the judge to declare which way the truth lies.
