In December Katy Perry and Russell Brand’s divorce plea was filed – is it good time for Perry in April to show PDA with another guy? Anyway, here comes the Part of Me singer chumming with a musician at a rock festival this weekend, and it surely looked like a new romance is on the make!
The guy who can please the 27-year-old pop star is Robert Ackroyd, a guitar player with British indie band Florence + the Machine, and the site was the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in Indio, Calif. The two were moving to music, never letting go of one another, kissing. Perry seemed to be at her happiest, sporting her recently dyed purple hair with an outfit to match, purple with sun-gold pattern. Ackroyd was clothed in a casual jeans-and-a-T-shirt fashion showing his tattoos on his arms.
Coachella is this year’s Perry’s favorite spot – she was known to spend nearly all night there and dropping by on the next day as well. Now she has an even better reason to stick around.
