One of the British tabloids has decided to reveal the beauty secrets of the Duchess of Cambridge Catherine and learned what beauty products she uses.
Like other women, the Duchess of Cambridge has a variety of products for cleansing the face in her makeup bag – lotions, scrubs, and moisturizers. Most of them are oxygen cosmetics by Karin Herzog. But the main secret of skin beauty was revealed by Catherine’s mother in law Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall. She told Catherine about the unique facial mask based on bee venom, which makes the skin tighten, and it literally begins to glow. This mask was designed by one of Britain’s leading beauticians Deborah Mitchell. Catherine also obtains her special glow effect from tanning products (Xen-Tan or Urban Retreat), which she occasionally uses.
The Duchess of Cambridge also does not forget to use concealers and special moisturizers by Bobbi Brown to mask and remove under-eye circles.
In makeup, including nail polishes (usually Bourjois and Essie – what a democratic Duchess!), Catherine prefers neutral colors ranging from light pink to peach. Only sometimes she affords red lacquer on her toes. She almost always uses mascara, shadows and an eyeliner. For some time, she has been a big fan of makeup by Bobbi Brown, though she is said to constantly use Lancome Hypnose mascara.
Her makeup is perfect for social events, which the young royal person frequently visits. It is solemn, but not pretentious.
As for fragrances, Catherine prefers a perfume with the notes of white gardenia petals produced by a little-known British brand and a series of fragrances called Illuminum Jo Malone. In addition, on her and Prince William’s wedding day, she asked to put grapefruit and lime, orange blossom, basil and tangerine scented candles in Westminster Abbey.
The Duchess visits her hairdresser every eight to twelve weeks to have a haircut, but she also likes to have her famous “Catherine’s curls” three or four times a week. On rare and solemn occasions, she removes her hair back.
