On her 30th birthday Fate made Jessica Simpson a gift she seems to like a lot! Her five-week relationship with former NFL player Eric Johnson (who is also 30) is becoming more heated by day.
Simpson, having divorced Nick Lachey four years ago, went through a succession of romances with Tony Romo, John Mayer and Billy Corgan, all of which went phut.
This was not what the Sweet Kisses singer had expected from life. She was heard saying that she meant to lead a great pop star life complete with a husband and children, but – “things can be taken from you”, was how it all wound up.
But these days, according to inside information shared by Us Weekly, Simpson is “really happy” with her new flame Johnson, who is a married man.
Saturday on the yacht where the reality television star had her birthday party she and Johnson were all over each other. A photo available from the celebration shows both of them embracing fondly while enjoying the sights of Capri, off which the yacht was located.
Us Weekly says that their relationship is coming along at a great speed, him introducing her to his family. Us also published a photo depicting Simpson at Johnson’s grandparents’ 60th wedding anniversary.
Last January Johnson, who had been married 5 years, started divorce proceedings.
