The “Client List” series is about to appear on TV screens. In this series, Jennifer Love Hewitt plays a single mother and an employee of a massage parlor (in this case it means a prostitute). The massage parlor is actually a real brothel.
In anticipation of this event, the viewers are lured by the really hot promotional materials, shots and trailers, in which the actress appears in a very sexy and straightforward image.
But it will not be difficult for Jennifer to get used to it: she played the same role two years ago, though in the movie. The success of the movie inspired the producers of the Lifetime channel to create a show.
However, the series will not be a verbatim reiteration, and the script writers promise a lot of interesting and unexpected plot twists. However, the audience is more concerned with the question whether “authentic life” will remain on the screen, that is if erotic scenes are preserved.
Meanwhile, there is already a scandal around the show: hundreds of masseurs write complaints against Hewitt and the TV company, accusing them of the fact that the show is a disgrace to their profession.
The actress reacts to all the attacks with irony:
“I tried to make a joke on Twitter that I wondered why people were not writing to Dexter about killing people, or to Nurse Jackie about taking drugs on the job.”
The charges become even more ridiculous if we take into account the “Client List” series being based on the real story about an ordinary American.
Whether the passion will subside or not will be clear in April.
