The singer and writer Geri, now 36, announced to Ivan Velez, 29, her decision to stop their relationship by phone (phone break-ups lately seem be very popular among celebrities). The news was quite unexpected for Ivan; Geri and her daughter Bluebell spent the last summer with him. The couple had dated only for about six months.
Ivan was setting up future plans in his mind and thought that their relationship had bright future. Marriage was in the air and even plans to have children. The Closer magazine’s sources report that Geri believed this relationship to be the love of her life but eventually realized that she was mistaken. She decided to put this affair with Ivan to an end since doing it later would only hurt more.
Some say that the break-up happened shortly before the paparazzi spotted Geri Halliwell with the comedian David Walliams. The two tried going out before but eventually ended up as friends. When the life was rough for Geri she would turn to him for support.
