Crystal Renn has worked her way up in the modeling world, peaking with her recent appearance in the Sports Illustrated as a swimsuit model – and she says she feels as if she has been to all the places there are!
Renn, 25, started at size 12 as a plus-size model; later, she recounted to PEOPLE, she even was a double-zero for a while, and a 16. Now, having trimmed her body with hiking and yoga to an 8, she says “it’s a really interesting place to be, because there are very few sixes or eights.”
Renn, doing well with her sidetrack clothes 10 designing, is certainly not the slimmest one to grace the Sports Illustrated pages, but that the times when her body caused her any worries are long gone. And a slim body is not what they are wanting at the SI, she adds.
The SI main concern, according to Renn, is that their girls are healthy. “They’re about the girl,” she explains, and it doesn’t matter if she is the thinnest there can be. There are all types of beautiful bodies, and no need to stick to only one.
Therefore, her swimsuit photosession out in Australia went off like one big holiday. Renn has been in terms with her body lately, and a spell of doing yoga did things to the way she moves. She is basking in her “place of stability” as regards the shape she’s in.
