A skirt, made of leather and evoking the associations with the rocker style, has been given a new life by the celebrities and designers. Black, colored, form-fitting and flared skirts – everyone chooses the model to her taste.
The classic variant is still black leather skirts. It was this pencil skirt that Angelina Jolie chose to create a perfect combination with a white blouse – a strict and feminine image at the same time. Similar models were chosen by Fergie, who complemented it with a brilliant jumper, Courtney Love and Serena Williams.
Chloe Moretz, Kristin Cavallari, Lauren Phillips and Katharine McPhee preferred flirty mini-length models, the most extreme of which belonged to Paris Hilton. Ashley Tisdale, Uliana Sergienko and Geri Halliwell demonstrated numerous variations of a flared black leather skirt.
You can try to play with color: this version will look far less aggressive. Most often, the stars favored pastel tones, very relevant in the new season, by the way. Leather skirts of delicate peach and pink shades were worn by Amy Smart and Ciara.
Different variations of leather skirts were introduced in the new season by the Christian Dior Fashion House, ranging from colored, slightly flared skirts to the classic version of a black leather skirt in a rock’n’roll spirit. The Balmain House fantasized and decorated the classic black mini-skirt with various patterns, and Prada introduced funny prints and appliques with vintage cars.
For a ceremonial appearance in public, leather skirts should be combined with a classic white blouse or a stylish silk top, and the casual version will look fine with unconstrained sweaters, shirts and, again, leather jackets. And it is best to have high-heeled shoes!
