The “caries detector” analyzes the tooth surface with a laser ray. The technology has been earlier used in the chemical industry – with its help scientists determined the presence of different chemical agents.

Scientists at King's College London have found the connection between poor dental health and aggravation of cognitive function of brain. They have established, that significant teeth loss increases the risk of brain dysfunction, in particular, it becomes 3,57 times more likely.
