Italian sociologists have conducted a poll to reveal top 10 sexiest male professions. The poll involved over 1000 women (age 22-55 years). It is interesting that the absolute majority of women named the men in uniform. The hottest favorites were law enforcement officers.
34% of women gave their vote to the men in police uniform. The reason was the policemen’s good physical fitness and the color of their uniform (blue, dark blue and gray are associated with security). 26% of ladies named carabineers (rifles), 18% – aircraft pilots.
Lifeguards (11%) and barmen (8%) look less attractive to women. These professions ranked fourth and fifth on the list.
So, here are the top 10 sexiest male professions:
- Policemen
- Carabineers
- Aircraft pilots
- Lifeguards
- Barmen
- Sailors
- Physicians
- Cooks
- Bricklayers
- Lawyers.

What about photographers?
Do they wear uniform? According to the poll results, women find men in uniform the sexiest.
Unfortunately, most marriages to men in uniform, fail. Especially to policemen.
Then to military men. Cops deal with so much of the lower sectors of society, and crime, that they become course, gruff, and lose their abilities to be gentle and loving. They also become highly suspicious of everyone and everything. Military men are away often or have poor opinions about women in general.
Many wives of these men, stray, and divorce. Pilots are well known philanders and skirt chasers.
Most of the professions listed I find not all that appealing. Maybe these are what Italian women like most…but, I doubt it can be universally applied.
