The movie takes us back to the times of Great Depression. Jacob (Pattison), a student of veterinary school, has to leave his studies after his parents are killed. He gets a job of a vet at the Benzini Brother’s traveling circus. There he meets an equestrian named Marlena (played by Reese Witherspoon) and her mad husband, an animal trainer named August. A candidate for the husband’s role, Sean Penn, hasn’t confirmed his participation yet.

The filming is scheduled to start in June, 2010.
