Good news for women suffering from hair fall. Japanese scientists have found a gene, responsible for hair aging. They have analyzed in detail the hair of 127 girls and women aged from 11 to 70. Consequently the researchers were able to mark out the VEGF gene, which becomes less active with the age. Together with it the hair becomes thinner and more fragile. The scientists claim, that the gene improves the blood circulation in the hair bulbs and thereby provides the hair with more nutrients and microelements. The researchers are sure, that the development of gene therapy will enable the renewal of VEGF gene and let the hair stay young for a long time and people stop losing hair.
