It’s time illumination on footwear spread out beyond kids’ fashion and set out to conquer ladies’ shoes, thought Italian designer Francesca Castagnacci – and turned out these beautiful illuminated high heels that will light you up in any crowd!
Castagnacci used fiber-optic strands that are very thin (comparable to hairs) and can easily be woven into practically any fabric, be it clothes or accessories.
The rest is purely the case of fixing LED lights on the ends of the strands, providing that brilliant effect, supplying batteries (and tucking them out of sight), but modern technology takes it up in its stride. And here comes a pair of gorgeous shoes that look so resplendent that it’s a safe bet to predict their making women’s eyes shine and catching on like wildfire.
