What other item can be justly called a GalaxyDress than the most resplendent (and reputed to be the biggest) LED-adorned dress on the globe? Created by CuteCircuit, a UK-based designer company, it is an elegant silk robe, only we won’t see the silk. What we will see is 24,000 LED lights and, their impact clearly considered not strong enough, there are 4,000 Swarovski crystals sewn in.
Chicago visitors can see it at the Chicago Museum of Science and Industry at the current FastForward: Inventing the Future exhibition. Will we all be wearing LED clothing in the future?
