Nooka, helped by designer Karim Rashid, went to a food store to find inspiration for a new wristwatch and came back with that yummy yoghurt idea. The liquid-looking timepieces have a large circular display where the hour is shown in hexagon-formed digits with the minutes shown in small dashes in the outer ring.
Inside the Yoghurt Watches contain a Quartz Crystal Oscillation Frequency module, an LCD display, and CR2016 battery support. Outside they sport PU Body case material completed with Stainless Steel/Screw on the back. The 38 x 10mm watches (with the band 18mm wide) come in six colors, equally yummy – Raspberry, Blackberry, Blueberry, Green, plus Non Fat and Plain for those watching their weight.
The watches are water-resistant (in case anyone tries to lick them) and retail at $130. They can work in both modes, 12 and 24 hours.
