Sexy women appearing in glossy magazines make men unhappy, according to scientists from the University of Missouri, US. It would seem that men should get esthetic pleasure viewing beautiful female bodies. Yet, after scientists interviewed a large group of the representatives of sterner sex, they found that those who like to flip over glossy magazines have lower self-esteem than their peers who are indifferent to glossy print reading.
It turned out glossy magazines make men think like “I’m not so good for this beauty”. This thought causes depression in men. Later, they experience difficulties in real life relationships with the opposite sex. Strange as it seems but glossy magazines contribute to inferiority complex in men, scientists say.
