The track was recorded for the band’s sixth studio album, titled Ghost Stories (2014). Guy Berryman, Jonny Buckland, Chris Martin, and Will Champion wrote and produced the song in collaboration with Paul Epworth, Rik Simpson, Daniel Green, and Tim Bergling.
