This year Malta will compete at the Eurovision Song Contest 2011 with a song called One Life performed by a Maltese singer Glen Vella. The author of the song’s lyrics is Fleur Balzan, and the music is composed by Paul Giordimaina. By the way, the latter represented Malta at Eurovision in 1991.
Glenn Vella with his song One Life won the Eurovision pre-selections in Malta getting 90 points with the maximum of 12 points from 3 out of 6 judges, along with 36 points received from the public televote. The song will represent Malta in the 2nd part of the Eurovision’s semi-final on May 10, 2011.
